How long do airbrush tattoos lasts?

 

Depending on skin type and the ink used, our airbrush tattoos lasts up to 14 days. An airbrush tattoo placed in an area that gets constantly rubbed by clothing is not going to last very long. Extended periods of swimming, heavy sweating, using oils or moisturizing soaps and lotions on the skin will reduce the lasting effects. A tattoo sprayed on a child will not last as long as the same one on an adult due to the rapid exfoliation of children.

 

We've heard there are airbrush tattoos that lasts up to 6 months?

There aren't any FDA approved inks in the market that can last more than 3 weeks. So if someone tells you that their inks can last anything more than 3 weeks, you're better off not getting a tattoo. Inks that are not FDA approved might leave you with terrible scars!

 

How many colors can be done on a single tattoo?

At present, our airbrush tattoos can be done in the following colors: black, dark blue, aqua blue, red, funchia, orange, hot pink, lime green, white and flourecent yellow. However, certain designs such as tribal tattoos should be done in black.

 

How do I care for my airbrush tattoo?

When showering, wash around the area and pat gently when toweling off. After which, apply baby powder or cornstarch to your tattoo after showering or a swim.

 

How do I remove my airbrush tattoo?

Airbrush tattoos can be easily removed with surgical alcohol or baby oil. At every event the Tattoo Boutique does, we give all our clients a set of instructions on how to care for your new tattoo.

 

Does drinking alcohol affect the lifespan of my airbrush tattoo?

The human body is such that when you consume a large amount of alcohol, your body will sweat it out of your pores and this will shorten the life of your tattoo. As such, folks who perspire a lot will find that their airbrush tattoos will not last as long as others.

 

Can children, babies and pregnant women get an airbrush tattoo?

Yes you can. We use ONLY the safest inks for our airbrush tattoos. Our inks contain FDA approved ingredients and are imported from the United States of America. We love doing children parties and we have artists that work great with children!

 

Is your airbrush tattoo procedure hygienic?

Our artists adhere to the strictest in hygiene control. Our artists wear surgical latex gloves while they are tattooing and handling stencils. All used stencils are soaked and throughly cleaned with surgical spirit.

 

What are the advantages of an airbrush tattoo over a ‘rub-on’ temporary tattoo?

Airbrush tattoos are far more realistic looking. ‘Rub-on’ temporary tattoos have a plastic glaze and will crack easily. Airbrush tattoos adhere to the skin better because there are no air pockets between the skin and the ink.

 

How long does it take to do a medium size tattoo?

It depends on the number of colors the tattoo has.

All black tattoo: 2 to 3 minutes.

2 colors (e.g.: red and black): 5 minutes.

3 or more colors: 8 minutes on average.

 

Is there a minimum booking duration?

Yes, there is a minimum booking of one hour per event.

 

Do we need to provide anything for our party?

Give us a working space with a nearby electrical socket, a table and two chairs per artist and we’ll bring our roving studio to your party!

 

What is included in the full studio set-up?

A full studio set-up comprises of the following items...

Stencils, 'Flash' stand, Airbrush Tattoo equipment, Tattoo Care Instructions for guests and a Tattoo Boutique vertical standing banner.

 

Can you do custom designs and logos?

At the Tattoo Boutique, we love challenges! Send us your design and we’ll work it into a stencil. There will be an extra charge for all custom stencils. Prices of these designs will vary depending of the complexity of the design.

 

Can we provide our own stencils at our party?

Mylar is the ideal material for stencils. It's flexibility allows the stencil to bend according to the human body and it retains it's shape after each use. While our artists will try to work with the stencils you provide, we cannot gurantee customer satisfaction.

 

How far ahead should we book your services?

As much as we try to accommodate last minute requests, it would be ideal if you contact us a week before your event. During the festive season and other public holidays in Singapore, a month’s advanced notice is required.

 

How many designs are provided at events?

We provide over 100 stencils for every event we do. These designs are a collection of armbands, naval tattoos, small and medium sized tattoos. Our collection of stencils have been put together to cater to the masses.

 

Is a deposit required?

We require a 50% deposit upon confirmation of your event. Following which, the remainder has to be paid at the end of the event. We except cash and cheque!

 

Do you do charity shows?

We are committed to working with local charities and causes in Singapore. We will provide our services F.O.C for 2 hours at your event. All we ask is that you include our name, The Tattoo Boutique, on your publicity materials.
